How many do I need to order to get the Special School Price?
To qualify for the special school price of $25 per unit which includes GST & delivery, you simply need to order a minimum of 12 units. Ordering in multiples of 12 is encouraged for ease of packaging & delivery, but we're happy to accomodate any orders over 12!

How do I order for our Fundraiser?
Ordering is easy! You have a couple of options - either click here to download the Order Forms and fax us the Fundraising Order Form, or Freecall 1800 671 109 & place your order over the phone.

How long does it take to receive the Apple Peelers once I've placed my order?
When you place your order, we will fax you an invoice if you've chosen option 1 on so that you can organise payment (this is required before delivery). In all cases, once we've processed your payment, we will then send your order which on average will take 3-5 days to arrive. We advise you allow at least 2 weeks from order to delivery.

Can we pay COD?
We require payment before delivery. You are able to pay by Cheque, Money Order, Direct Debit or Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa).

How much should we charge for each unit?
Recommended Retail Price is $35 but the units can be often be sold in shops for up to $50! It is up to each individual school what they charge, depending on how much profit they would like to make from each unit.

Yes! We're more than happy to deliver to all parts of Australia.

I just want 1 or 2 to use in our Canteen, is that ok?
Yes! For Canteen Orders we can provide the Apple Peelers at $35 (RRP) and send them to you FREIGHT-FREE! When & if you want to Fundraise, you can use the Fundraising Order Form to place your order of 12 or more from Hillmark & receive the Special School Price of $25/unit (inc GST & delivery). Can I leave the peel on?
Yes! To leave the peel on when you create Apple Slinkies, you simply need to hold down the Peeling Arm using the Lock Lever which is located at the base of the arm. You can also remove the Peeleing Arm if you want to. If you have any problems Freecall 1800 671 109 & we'll be happy to help!

Is it easy & safe to use for children?
Yes! It's safe to use because you can attach it firmly to a bench using the Suction Base. It doesn't take much effort to wind the handle, so even small hands can create their own Apple Slinky!

Does it matter what size or type of apple I use?
Not really! When using the Apple Peeler Corer Slicer, you will notice that the Peeling Arm on the side moves to adjust to the size of the apple, so almost any size can be catered for!
In regards to type, you can use red, green or yellow - all come out as a delicious Apple Slinky!

How much should we charge for each Apple Slinky?
That's up to you! Some schools have a deal where students can buy an apple & turn it into a slinky for free, or if they bring their own they charge 10c or 20c. Others charge students 20c for each slinky regardless of whether the Apple was from the canteen or home.

Can we get Spare Parts for the Apple Peeler?
Yes! The Hillmark Apple Peeler Corer Slicer is high-quality, however you may find that through doing 50-100 apples a day the parts begin to wear after a while! For example, the blade may become a little bit blunt, or the Thread Guide may wear allowing the Apple to slip through. This is normal for a lot of use!
All components are available and on average only cost a few dollars to replace. To order any Spare Parts, simply Freecall 1800 671 109.

Does the Apple Peeler only work on apples?
No! You can also use it to peel, core & slice firm Pears, or use it to pare small to medium sized Potatoes! But wait, that's not all! Create interesting looking salads with slinkied beetroot or carrots!
